Join the Fun! Portland Photo Month Activities
April 2014 is the fourth annual Portland Photo Month! The city is teeming with fun photography events and exhibitions.
Patricia Galagan’s work is gracing the walls at Blue Sky Gallery this month. Patricia was a solo exhibition award winner in Critical Mass 2013. Patricia’s series, “Objects of Desire,” explores the lives and loves of Havana residents. If you’re in the Portland area, make sure to stop by to see this beautiful show. The exhibition will be on display until April 27th.

“Then. Now. Here.” An Oregon Slideshow
Oregon is a gorgeous place – mountains, beaches, massive old-growth trees, high desert regions – it’s a photographer’s paradise. As featured in Portlandia, the show Portlanders love to hate, our corner of the world is also home to a cast of colorful characters. We’re celebrating it all in a fun slideshow screening on Wednesday, April 16th (7-9pm) at the Oregon Historical Society. The slideshow includes images by talented contemporary photographers, mixed with historical images of Oregon. Join us for an evening of photography, live music, food and drink. This event is free to the public. Bring a friend!
If you can’t make it out to the OHS screening, “Then. Now. Here.” is also running in a continuous loop in the front window of Blue Sky Gallery this month.
